Quick monitor question - suitable power output from amp?

Yamaha A-S300 amp (http://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio-vi ... mode=model) in to Yamaha NS-20M monitors (basically same as NS-10M but with super-tweeter added) rated as 80w nominal and 160w max.
Under-powered amp? I found a lot of good ones, but that's the most powerful. Everything else is about 50w. If I need more power (and it appears I do according to a lot of info online) then I'll just have to pay more...
