Do you ever use the triplet grid when programming.
I am currently trying to reverse engineer the drum programming in a song by clark called for wolves crew and I am noticing that there is a part with the typical techno offbeat shaker but the shaker hit comes 1/32 triplet before the actual offbeat (or the 3 on a normal 16th grid). Do you think this is intentionally programmed or a result of some sort of swing being used?

Any other info or even reference to songs you know where triplet grids are used would be very appreciated!

been playing around with triplets alot lately since I'm using an Android tablet and I can't play my drums with it..it's a common thing in certain genres.
