This is a song I've started working on recently, it's still in its very early stages and is pretty repetitive as I'm searching for a vocalist to feature on it and feel it would be easier for them to work with in its basic form. BUT i do intend on adding a lot more variation to the track and a lot more detail once I have some vocals to work with as i like to work my songs around the vocals rather than the vocals around the song. If any singers are interested in working with me on this track and have their own recording equipment and consider themselves a fairly high quality artist please contact me through my email
bennettoluke@hotmail.co.nz. any comments and criticisms etc are also welcome

Just wanted to say I gave it a listen. I find it interesting how everyone has their own preferences for how a song is constructed. I MC, and I like my producer to do as much as he can and then once our beat is roughly 90% complete I write to it.
Out of curiosity, is there a particular style you're searching for? Or even concept in mind? What is your direction (thought process) with this tune you're working on? Thanks for sharing.

hey thanks for giving it a listen and being curious about my production process. The style i'm working towards is a powerful euphoric and emotional kind of feeling mainly constructed from the chords and hugely layered synths. I want to be able to encase the listener with rich pleasant sounds and interesting melodies created with the synth chords after knocking them off their feet with the first wave of synths. I left this song really basic because I prefer to construct my songs around the vocals as I believe they're the main attraction of the song and I don't want to create a huge powerful and busy track that will take all the attention away from the vocals and drown them out, i find mixing the track around the vocals a lot easier than trying to mix the vocals into a busy and complicated track. I also like to leave the track very open with just the basic chords and melodies etc because i like to hear the unique vocals and singing styles that different artists can come up with without being too influenced by the instrumental. thanks again for your interest
