Nice review. I'm loving mine, having it on my chair has improved my posture which is an added bonus

This seems more of a luxury buy more than an essential one.

I wouldn't know how to determine what a luxury item is as it is different for each person. All I know is it's the best bit of kits I've bought for a long time and it does make music making on headphones a lovely experience.
Also just for sitting round listening to tunes with it on is really nice. Its definitley an extension of the listening experience and if y ou enjoy listening to music and basslines then its wicked.
My advice, try and find somewhere to try it. you wont regret it.
