something about burgers, when they are shit, they are the lowest form of nutrition, when they are good, they transcend food.

If you live in Brighton then all i can say is

MeatLiquor honestly make the best burgers I've ever tasted. They're the only thing I miss about living in the West End.

Haché in Camden do a very good, slightly more upmarket burger menu. Their pulled pork burger is fucking fire.

Patty & Bun on St Christopher's Place are a good alternative if the queue at MeatLiquor's fucked as usual. Tommy's on Marylebone High St is good too... the West End became great burger central in the year before I moved tbh.

Burger & Lobster are good, but far too expensive.

Byron are decent, but a tier below all the above IMHO. Good bourbons though!

GBK and Fine Burger Co are rubbish... I'd rather have a Burger King than either of them.

Still not tried FiveGuys... I'm told it's good, but the queue always looks horrendous.

For outside London, Westcountry Ninjas MUST make themselves familiar with Shwartz Bros in Bath!

Annie's Burger Shack in Nottingham is awesome (from what I hear)... they do some ridiculously awesome burgers. For instance;

The Caribbean
Authentic jerk spiced chicken or beef burger.
Topped with Caribbean saucy onions, peppers and a fresh grilled pineapple ring

The Deathray
This one should come with a warning sign! Burger topped with American style Cheddar cheese,
jalapeños, black olives, and peppers, slathered in pure hot chilli paste.
Topped off with a whole grilled Scotch Bonnet.

The Elvis
Inspired by the King. A half-pound burger smothered with peanut butter and raspberry jam
(or jelly, if you want to call it that). It sounds weird, but hey, it really works!

*drools* :D

Truth, and only mugs eat a burger with knife and fork.

When i went in London a few months back i went into Byrons Burger. The burger was really nice, their onion rings were really tasty as well. Also they had Brew Dog ales.

Make my own;

wub wrote:I made burgers.

Started off with mince, red onion, garlic, sun dried tomatos and egg yolk into the patties;

Dry fried for a couple of seconds each side in a smoking hot pan to seal them, then baked in the oven for about 7mins to cook through;

Served with cheese, tomato, spinach & jalapenos;

And the other month did a food challenge where I had to eat a 1kg burger + bun + salad + fries. Smashed it. Not advisable to have medium though; due to the size of the burger, there were a good few mouthfuls which were just raw mince.

When I was younger I went to my cousins football match and there was this burger van, anyway they had these like dench cheeseburgers for like £2.50 and it just blew my tiny little mind away
