First I was going to get this, because hey – free stuff. But then I started looking at it. Why do I need this? I have working compressors, gating plugins, eq's and filters, stereo delays, pitchers... etc.
Not critical, just interested! And slightly critical

Neat! Thanks for that. Not 100% sure i need it, but its always worth getting free stuff.
Damn, this thing has a ton of presets, Im sure some of them will lend to some interesting sonic mangling.

Eventide has a long and luminous history: a big part of Prince's sound, for instance, comes from Eventide hardware. Worth checking out IMHO.

You have to make an iLok account, but no dongle though.

Yeh, I've had it for 2 days and I'm already having issues with the iLok manager giving me problems, had to un/reinstall the manager application to get it working again. skeptical, if it gives me any more issues I'm writing it off before I waste $250 worth of aggravation trying to deal with iLok.

I seem to be in the lucky few who have no problems with the ilok manager. But I do save my licenses to my ilok key so might be a factor

I had to uninstall iLok and then remove the ProgramData folder for it to work but I've not had any issues once I got that sorted. Haven't used the plug-in yet either but I'll have a play when I have the time methinks...

This thing seems like a CPU hog. Is it just me?
