MF is blowing out the original Nord Drum Synths for 99USD. Nord Drum 2 has come out and apparently they want these gone. Free shipping. You might be able to double your money. I know these go for ~225USD on eBay quite often.

Yeah I'm not sure I'm hugely into the sound either but it'd be fun for playing around with mates and also I just bought a house and I think it'd look pretty sitting in my studio

The thing with any piece of kit, software or hardware, 90% of the demos are going to be average, but it that kit in the right hands and you have magic.

I figure for 99 dollars I cant loose and this has way more resale value than a VST. I couldnt find a demo of anyone using it for dance music in anyway. Just drummers. Think about the crazy layering you could do using all four voices with three oscillators each. 12 oscillator drum hits. Yall could make some crazy fucking snares. Also, imagine that with the right MIDI programming you can morph the sound of the snare by triggering, or not, the different layers.

Obviously you can do this in software quite easily, but this is pretty tasty as far as a small desktop drum unit goes. If you look at the Jomox stuff for example...you are paying 200 plus for the kick module which isnt nearly as flexable. 300 + for the perc/snare unit--while pretty cool--no where near what this is capable of.
