Anyone know a cultivating set of tutorials for FL Studio?

Hey guys,

I've seen many tutorials on YouTube and they all seen to have the same templates for their titles. "Skrillex grind sound", "Kill The Noise bass" and whatever. They all seem to have the same idea of trying to teach aspiring producers (such as myself) how to sound like the artists we adore instead of trying to encourage us to develop our own signature sounds.

My problem in production has always been the mastering and compressing of my tracks, which I have found many helpful tutorials for. But how about the presets that I've been making from scratch? I've been trying to look for a tutorial that may give me guideline to making my presets sound good, instead of teaching me how to sound like Datsik. Like tips to making a good preset, for FL Studio plugins (Haven't touched VSTs yet).

So I ask of you brothers, do you know of any tutorials that may help me?

(P.S: I don't hate any of the artists I mentioned, and I'm not gonna take any shit from "Bros" and "Truheads" about my preferences, simply because I love both sides of this stupid schism. Also, please look past the horrible organisation of this question.) :a:

You don't need tutorials, honestly the best way is experimenting.

Come up with some good chords/melody and just load in a synth you want to learn. Start from the basic preset and try and make the sounds you want, use the manual if you get stuck. Also if you're really stuck on how the synth does certain things, play around with the default presets and deconstruct them to see why they sound like they do.

There's no secret to good sounds, experimenting is the best way to get sounds you like... also post synth FX can play a big role in getting things to sound bigger, wider or louder, so remember that too.
