Cause a lot of brostep lacks what I enjoy about dubstep (E.g. Deep basslines, subtly, strong focus on percussion etc...)

Tearout is not brostep:

those videos basically sum it up perfectly. tear out still keeps that 140/150 bpm rhythm and percussion. the differences are so easy to hear

I like both... more so the so called "brostep" stuff i guess. is cookie monsta considered as "brostep" by hardcore dubsteppers?

hard to like both for some ppl. it's like liking pop-rock & dsbm
I personally don't like most of brostep stuff, mainly because wobbles sound very random, sometimes cheesy, often squeaking loudly at the edge of human hearing, which is exausting for ears if me listens to them too long. There are some exceptions from that rules, of course.
