So i registered for this forum just for this thread, but will probably continue to be active.

I was with a friend of mine in pittsburgh (Ryury) and he gave me an mp3 cd of 4 dubstep mixes on it. It is fucking sick. I've been djing drum n bass now for about a year and love it (Vinyl emulation via serato). I mainly spin drum n bass because I feel that most other styles are very gay. Seriously, repetitive crap. Dubstep, however, is an exception. I would absolutely love to come to this party, but I'm underage. If any of you guys throwing the party could try to help me get in with an underage female i'd be very appreciative. I can't stress how much I love dubstep and how I want to help make this scene grow. I'm hoping to be able to produce quality via teachings from ricky skullcrusha (a pittsburgh dj, look at this productions via beatport) and I'm also the president of my college (I get shit done). But most importantly, I want to come to this party because it will probably be a whole shitload of fun listening to the most underground type of contemporary dance culture.

welcome to the forum! definitely wish you could be there, but a word of advice: prolly not a good idea to ask about getting underage people into bars. if caught, it can cause a whole world of trouble for the bars. if people want to keep their spaces, they generally do their best not to cause problems for them.

wish you could come to the show, but sometimes things don't work out. how long til yer 21?

oh and p.s. i AM gay (really). so...umm...can we refrain from using that word to describe things that sucketh? kplzthx!

Unfortunately I have nothing to do with the I.D. check. You are welcome to try to get in by whatever means you can think of. It doesn't bother me if underagers are in there, thats on the bar.

seriously though if i were you i'd look out for underage shows (raves) that feature dubstep. or get a fake id. i feel for you though it's alot harder now than it was when i was underage.

just an fyi - in my experience this bar doesn't always card that hardcore. it would be worth giving it a shot. just make sure not to try to buy any drinks because they probably will card you then.
