Hi everyone, i found this sound in some song preview. I know it has something to do with pitch bending but im confused on how to get a close enough sound. Is there any massive or fm8 tutorial out there about this type of sound?

fast pitch up followed by a slower pitch down, detuned saws, bam! this sound is also known as a hoover

It was actually a clip from a intro song I ripped from one of those crappy "make this skrillex sound" tutorials...

Its a hoover, pretty popular sound in 90's dance music

Map an envelope to the pitch of some saw waves and tune them down

pitch detuning adds to it and makes it wider, but not too much

Thanks labco... I do find your other videos to be helpful. I think the whole sound like skrillex topics tend to just chase the white rabbit if you know what I mean...
