I think this is the best mix ive ever gotten. I also am proud of the hat/snare syncopation. I feel like the bass is strong and dirty without being too broish (is broish a word?). The pads are just a preset, but i think they work well in the context. Was also my first experiment with iOS synths.
Not sure if this thread will take off, but why not? Keep it classy bitches.

edit: nice track OP btw, i enjoyed that.
i'm gonna say that for me personally, that my most recent track is my "favourite" one:
i started this track yesterday afternoon and finished it today. i consider it my favourite track because of the goals i achieved whilst making it. i used few instruments, obtain & messed with the sounds that i wanted, my work flow was easy and fluid, and didn't feel the need to touch it after rendering for the final time.
i kinda went out of my comfort zone for this one too, really messing with swing and different sounds.
not to everyone's taste but meh, i like it.

Probably either Ice Box or Shirts in my Soundcloud.
Though Six Day Weekend I wrote after an awesome holiday. It's a tough question, and its lovely that I find it hard to answer

i trash a lot of the stuff i put on my sc.. at times i get bored of the path i've taken with my production and tend to discard a lot of songs, but i keep the ones that resonate best with my "latest" style of choice. guess i'm a sort of a bandwagoner. this summer i decided to start making really "emotional" and melody-driven stuff on a modern RnB / rap tip. i'm pretty satisfied with this track.
But I generally like my music though s it's a tough choice.

nah your best one is how u make me feel- i used to love that one. Ah i used to have so much stuff from people off here which i listened to on a regular- phaid and leasy were both sick too, will have to listen to all my dsf folder again, maybe i can upload it for people idk if thats cool.
Anyone got any recommendations off the dubs board recently?

I'd have to say it's this one called Swamp, I really like the movement I got going in the sub and the mid-range in the second half plus the atmospherics of the track all work perfectly in my opinion.
Connecticut (USA) based producer Sovereign sent us over this heads-down-hoodies-up track entitled “Swamp”, and we jumped at the opportunity to not only feature a fellow US-based head, but to have such well-crafted tune on the roster. Straight from the beginning, a wave of menacing ambiance presents itself, only to be joined in succession by quick hats, a pulsing voice synth, and eventually a commanding kick and snare groove. The 55 second mark yields a dancing sub line, alongside even more desolate ambiances. It doesn’t take any sort of critical analysis for one to notice the extreme juxtaposition between the cold ambiance in this track, and the warm sub. As one can conclude from this write-up alone, Sovereign has masterfully crafted both his soundscapes, and his subscape- not a feat every producer in this genre can claim. The second drop is even nastier than the first- an old-school wobble intertwines with the sub, which this time around as more variation and attitude. I won’t even attempt to describe what the ambiances are doing at this part- hear it for yourself.
