I like it, its a very subtle remix, but as you said, the tune is classic, so you dont want to change it too much! Its sweet though, more like an homage than a remix, its well done!

Pretty good job imo you didn't ruin the song and kept it similar that isn't always bad. I definitely think you achieved the more mellow aspect you were looking for. Good job clean mix.
