Deep vibes, I like the scale you used for the bass and the melody!

It's got great flow, just needs mixing for more depth and impact. That random echo'd thing is probably the best example of what I mean, comes in and bounces around in the mix in clear and punchy manner...
Maybe a few things you might want to try to spice up your mix: multi-band compression (like on the plucked guitar - bass more than treble, if at all on the treble), slightly louder bass (it barely tickles my ears with my headphones on), more audibility of the percussion (or punchiness, with the bass drum / tweak the lows off everything and use something that emphasises its harmonic content for sparkle, not really distortion but exciters or something like this

thanks man, i know it could probably be cleaner/punchier but i didnt want to do a really clinical mixdown on this since i wanted an old school kinda vibe. agree the bass drum is a bit shit tho couldnt really get it sounding much better >.<
i think the sub is definitely loud enough on monitors tho. thanks a bunch for the plugins btw really useful

edit: lol didnt realise the plugs were only demos, dont have the cash to fork out for them

Cool just do whatever you want. If you don't want clinical mixes use valve/tube hardware emulators. They emphasise even order harmonics, especially the second and often the fourth, and gently compress sounds - you can really smash stuff in to them without it sounding squashed and flat, harder to 'pump' them if the sound wasn't that way inclined to start with though.
The vst link was really just for ideas but tbh I didn't realise they were just demos myself... sorry! Plenty of free vsts floating around anyway. If you can do the maths yourself yoi could even make your own!

pretty cool i like that melody with the sub bass.. I would take out the low end frequencies on the guitar thing and add some delays n stuff to it, maybe turn up the sub but only if it doesnt effect the whole mix.. cool project!

How did I miss that...
Sweet tune man

The melody is nice, the drums are solid. My favourite part is the second drop, where the sub is left alone. Cool moment.

i never really heard a track like this, out of the ordinary concept, really nice and fresh, the mix could use a little work, but nice job man
