Feel free to name a legitimate better film than either of these.

Drive was good but I'm sure I can think of something better

Genuinely floored by this hitherto unknown level of praise from you for something.

I think I'd choose these two, it's very very hard to pick just two.

I was merely pointing out that Drive didn't get a lot of love around here. And considering Moneyball one of the "two greatest movies of the last decade" seems a bit... adventurous, even though I liked the flick.
My top two would probably be Drive, and one of these:
I have a hard time remembering all the impressive films I've watched in the last ten years.
oh, and big up Liam.

Predictable as fuck 'twist' ending.

One of Cruise's better attempts at serious acting, but too much brow furrowing and too many camp moments.

From a quick glance over my DVD shelf:
Black Swan
Four Lions
District 9
Moon
The Wrestler
City Of Men
No Country For Old Men
There Will Be Blood
Pan's Labyrinth
The Lives Of Others
Borat
Downfall
Shaun Of The Dead
Do very much like Drive though.

melancholia was basic as fuck. Even Von Trier has better films than that of the last decade

I assume you're trolling with these ones

Drive's not even my favorite movie with Ryan Gosling, Half Nelson is much better.
My top two will probably be Amour and A Bittersweet Life. I'd put Oldboy or Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring on there, but they were made in 2003.

Antichrist? Nymphomaniac? haven't seen Manderlay and didn't like The Boss Of It All. The former two did make an impression and I enjoyed watching these.
Pan's Laybrinth is a good shout, too.

No. District 9 was a very good film, good, different take on the alien film genre.
Borat had me in tears almost all the way through. I enjoyed it a lot. Shaun of the Dead. Probably the only comedy/horror film I've ever seen that is actually funny and scary.
Way to pick three from a list of fourteen though.
I like Drive a lot, but face it, it's basically an hour and a half long music video for the soundtrack.

Not denying they're not good. But greatest movie of the last decade? Nah, son.

Total immersion experience, full aesthetic going over on all fronts. A rare thing in this day and age.

I get that, but it focused on aesthetics too much over storyline. Moon and Downfall does it better than Drive, from my list. Even The Lives Of Others, which is probably my favourite off that list, does it just as well as Drive to some extent.

Good, but didn't have the cultural impact that Drive did.
