laughing so hard at that mala quotes thread, great replies. i wanted to make some comments and quotes but big brother said the thread is locked. did it get too real. is it too far gone, like the climate. The bodies of science on Earth are telling us the Great Spirit, Mother Nature, reacting to our failure to pass our cosmic final exams, may rid itself of us, ridding ourself of ourself. Know this the most educated and privileged continue their chosen path off the cliff. Perhaps a run of human intelligence on Earth is an evolutionary error. Wondering what aliens think of us is trippy because I think I'd totally agree with them. The play of life may truly be a tragedy. Possibly known to nobody.

Ever think life is a dream and we've needlessly designed our global society into a nightmare?

The Emperor Wears No Clothes by Jack Herer.

time for j. robinson Roots Selection 003 and bowls of Granddaddy Purple x Bubba Kush, think about how to achieve real democracy. people want socio-econmic policy to make demonstrable sense not money. the public is almost completely politically disenfranchised in the USA.

need a tracklist for that mix. and Las Innamind Promo Mix and Mikael Innamind Promo Mix #1. some of the best tunes in there.
orbiting around those ideas

here's a gift for you if you haven't heard it.
a global solar energy network from Africa to Europe east across the bearing straights through Alaska into the Americas. the key here is the light side powering the dark, realized over 40 years ago. Seriously Brother this will provide us with nearly free energy for all things that 'plug in' I don't think we can imagine how liberating that would be. while were at it make a global currency in kWh.

creamlard suggested i post this in here:

btw
d'I ever tell you guys about the time in Sydney; second time Mala came out, with Coki, to play @ OAF and a festival. Mark Pritchard's wife arranged a sort of soiree at a place that was briefly a reasonable venue. Most of the heads were there, really reverential like cos a lot of em hadn't got to the Southern Steppas gig @ the Abercrombie in 2007. Mala had just got off the plane & was rooted but answered all the questions magnanimously. (I'll have to find the vid I took). Anyway, during proceedings I asked a stupid question so when I went up to him afterwards with a crumpled paper bag in hand, he's probably thought: here's that old stoner come up to give me a bag of weed. He takes it, says thanks & I, modestly, sated with my few seconds of being in his aura, go away. Several minutes later, I'm chatting with some of the boys when I sense this body parting the crowd heading for me. Mala bursts up and grabs me in a big bear hug, enthusiastically thanking me for my gift. I felt the whole room freeze as if everybody's gone: WTF! Mala knows Steve? Ha ha.
You know what I gave him?
When I was an art teacher, I experimented with batiking t-shirts with indigosols. This was the best one; a mixture of drawing and dyes. I'd kept it pristine, worn it only once or twice to VOID. I wanted to give him something special & I did. But he gave me something even more special. 8) :Q:
