High drop synths.

Lately i've been hearing more and more Higher frequency based synths in song drops. Don't get me wrong i love it, but i want to know how to sort of be more creative on that side. I've spent so long trying to figure out basslines my leadlines are suffering completely. Songs like these are what i'm after.
Any ideas on how you can go about creating something similar, i know the sounds are all different but i wanna know in terms of what rough template you need and then go from there to make it your own?

I didn't hear any high end synths in the 2nd track u posted. On third track that's just probably filtered saw wave with pitch bend + resampling. My guess on Boss Mode (1st not-so-good track from Knife Party imo, sounds too generic) is that they took a clean vocal sample, sliced it, and loaded into a sampler or fm synthesis.

If we are talking about the Boss Mode synth, then it's all about the comb filter. Believe me or not.

about the second song: I'm pretty sure the sound he's talking about isn't on this snippet but it's coming right after after 1:30min

Damn I actually won't, wanna go a bit more in-depth with this?
@Audiowaves: My bad i listened the full version of the second song on youtube and found out that high pitch lead. I have to say no idea on that, apart from skrillex is using a lot of fm8.

I almost died when Rob said Boss Mode would be released. Been wanting it for a year-and-a-half and I thought it was scrapped! Literally my favorite song and my first exposure to trap as well.
Gonna have to experiment with comb filters a lot now.

Double-post I know, but Knife Party had a AMA today and I asked about Boss Mode's lead. To my surprise, he (Rob) responded! It is not effected by a comb filter, but a saw wave going through guitar rig and then something called unfilter by zynaptiq.
