Can somebody tell me how trap is made? I don't really get them.. Not saying I don't appreciate them it's just... the beat is off sometimes and there's no rhythm most of the times. Is that how it suppose to be?

Actual rap music type trap where the name came from is the best while drunk as fuck though

edm trap is underrated among truheads imo. Some of it is legit sick. Don't like the stuff with growls and reeses and shit though, where it tries to be both brostep and have the trap swag

you can't get turnt when theres a big growl in there and 5 different massive patches per bar. Like that noisia tune there signalrecon is not good imo.

The attacking lazer synth line is awesome though....

after looking through some edm trap to check wether i was talking rubbish, most of it actually seems bad. I have enjoyed it at parties before though.

Hate the actual music, but those boomy 808s feel funny in the club sometimes. Bass kinda sweeps from your head to your feet when the kick falls in pitch.

Did a bit of searching on YouTube after checking out that Eiffel 65 tune(which is meh). Lots of the edm trap, but this is a bit of a tune.

Edit: Gave it another listen, still a bit edm-ish.

That's why I don't understand trap sometimes, Most of them sounds like EDM and Brostep. I wanted to know what makes a track trap? o.O I know a trap track when I hear one but I just can't tell if they're really trap Is it a brostep trying to be trap or a trap trying to be brostep? I'm not making any sense I'll just shut up.... HAHA

A good trap tune doesn't have any edm tropes like the cheesy female lyrics or trance style build ups to a drop. I initially liked that tune I posted because it also had none of the random lyric shouts that were mentioned before. Good trap is purely instrumental.
