was just wondering if any1 has 1 on these and if its worth gettin only question was,was if it can play a normal sample on a pad like say a synth or wobble bass etc and if it is goos with fruity loops feedback will be appreciated safe

u can either use it as a midi controller, or use it with the fpc and add samples to each box with fl
its a laugh to use,but not essential to making music...

can u make good drums for dubstep on it aswell

It's not a sampler, just a controller. Think of it as a funny shaped keyboard. So to answer your first question, if it's controlling a softsampler, you can play any kind of sample on it, drums, percussion, bass, stabs, farting... It works better with percussive sounds, that's just the nature of it.

As for your second question, I've got the MPD24 (a better choice imo, more control) and if you can tap out something approaching a rhythm of your leg or on the desk, you can make good rhythms with the MPDs. They piss all over using a keyboard for drums, definitely.

or you can get a novation remote SL 25 compact which has keys AND pads :O (admittedly pads aren't quite as nice as what akai make)

i ent workin on a big buget ive onli jus started in the dubstep game im runnin fruity loops 7 got a behringer midi keyboard an sin the mpd 16 an thought it wud b good for now

get the mpd24, if you're getting one.

i got an MPD16 but have harldly ever used it. if u havent been convinced into getting the 24 then buy mine. safe
