What are the ethical reasons of vegetarianism vs veganism?
I can understand just not eating animals, AKA vegetarianism, because the life of an animal is probably morally worth a little more than my ability to enjoy meat.
But what's vegans' moral problem with eating eggs, mils etc? Apart from a vague argument about "taking what's not ours to take" I haven't heard anything.

Why is the life of an animal worth little more than liking meat? If you really believe this, what keeps you from eating other humans? Would you resist if an animal tried to eat you?
I'm not saying veganism makes sense btw, just questioning your logic.

because chickens, cows, etc being farmed for their eggs, milk, etc obviously still live in horrible conditions

"The monopoly of capital becomes a fetter upon the mode of bantz production, which has sprung up and flourished along with, and under it. Centralisation of the means of bantz production and socialisation of posting labour at last reach a point where they become incompatible with there capitalist integument." - karl marx

US of course. I'm thinking $7-9k per year of growth, up to say 8 or 9 years old. Deductions for excess fat and costs of bringing them over here.
