Depends on the listening situation though, different speaker or headphones etc. Also your brain infers the presence of frequencies based on the phase and harmonic relations of others so you might actually have lost higher freq listening ability and your brain has stopped imagining the other bits.

17k is a good level to hear up to. I'm like 16k. Ur low end will be fine I'm sure u just gotten used to how it sounds perhaps. Unless u have a cold or have had one recently u might have blocked ears and nose/throat

I doubt that you have low frequency hearing loss. Bass frequencies are rarely played loud enough to damage the ears, and the lower it goes, the more you feel it. You'd need to have some seriously ground shaking bass to damage your ears, and I think that most of the neighbours in the street would have complained long before that happened.
