Jurkhands is a young DJ, promoter and music enthusiast hailing from Winterthur, Switzerland. Co-running a monthly night with his friends (under the Glasshouse Collective umbrella) since early 2012, he’s slowly but steadily made a name for himself by pushing a deeper, anti-formulaic spectrum of contemporary club music.
Trainwrecks & Heartbreaks showcases Jurkhands’ love for dancefloor oriented dubstep, displaying roughly a decade’s worth of hand-picked, inspirational beats. This mix was recorded using a metric shitton of canned ravioli, nineteen vinyl records, two Technics turntables and one Allen & Heath Xone:22 mixer.

@bassmusikmix is an multimedia project that tries to catch the spirit of bass music in and around switzerland. the basic idea is to build a close relationship with all the artists in order to push the local scene.
furthermore, the current development is documented and released in the form of a monthly mix. switzerland might be a “terra nullius” on the digital and physical music landscape.
