hey was jst wondering if anyone new any good tutorials for that style of bass.. or any realy oldschool style basses
i produce alot of grime if anyone wants to have a look i can give them some tips.

nah its what americans started making. its like dubstep but with wonky basses lots of chorus mad waveforms. they called it riddim dubstep i dunno y

Well a riddim is the bass and drum tracks of a reggae tune. It's related to dub music.

but really, stylistic differences aside
we have a whole sub section for all the skrillx growls and riddim base questions. At this point, I think a search would almost bring up more results for 'riddim' than dubstep on this forum.

Really just just chuck any waveform into massive, add chorus, write a 'bassline' in a "triplet" fashion, and then add a vengence kick+snare. (dont forget to add a cheesy vocal sample from a movie into the intro for the drop tho)

I realise this sounds really complainy but actually I just find it funny that the meaning of the word can become so distorted
It's like when everybody started calling a specific type of music "EDM"
