I guess people really aren't buying brostep at all anymore. This is pretty interesting actually. The entire top 10 of 2014 dubstep chart is all dungeon + a Goth Trad tune from 2013 lol.
A step in the right direction.

Maybe they should open a dungeon category.
At least the top dubstep tunes aren't just big room house.
EDIT: That Badklaat remix of Joker is the only tune off that remix album I didn't dig. It has these on it:
maybe all the big brostep guys got shifted to another category? I don't really follow the bro scene, but Skrilly has left his bro productions behind it seems.
then hmm i'm at a loss as to why they'd do this. maybe they're trying to court the heads? or maybe they're trying to change peoples' perception of what dubstep is for some reason.
i'd go with the first one actually. juno seems to be the leader for dubstep in terms of digital sales. maybe beatport's trying to take that market because it knows the bros will always stick with beatport regardless of if zomboy is in the top 10 or not. the bros have never even heard of juno.

idk about you guys, but I don't buy shit from Beatport. The only thing I've ever bought off of Beatport was the SP:MC Declassified EP because they had it exclusive for two weeks. Everything else I get off of either Juno or Amazon.

I haven't visited Beatport in several months, but from what I remember, it never were the most typical brostep that hold the top 10. Some occasional Skrillex and Zomboy tunes etc. here and there, but I think it was more about the really harsh tearout like some newer Datsik for example than the electro-esque stuff that you can almost hear on the radio. iTunes on the other hand was different.
