is it even worth it? ...as a producer/dj who is just getting started?...it seems like Facebook is dying pretty quickly, but it seems to still be one of, if not, the best platforms to reach an audience...obtaining an audience is def hard/expensive these days in an over-saturated market....thoughts? any suggestions as to how to gain a following (aside from actually making good music)

The most successful cyber begging I've found is to start a kick starter campaign. Get a really sick video of urself telling the camera how important it is that the viewers do the things that you say, and then hit them with ur demands. If the video is edited well enough and u use enough pathos, you never know man, u could be on ur way to blowing up big time. Won't even have to open ableton or nothin

Facebook has made pages completely invaluable unless you pay them for reach & then they sneakily spam ppl in your demo
Unless you want to pay, its really only good as a page to update w mixes/tunes or w/e

its sort of like ISPs will throttle your connection
facebook will decide how slowly your page's status is shared among people (thats why its default set everyones feed to highlights & not chronological order) & will not put it on others feed that some1 liked it unless you pay for push
u always see those "friend liked _____ so like _____" but you need to pay (not only just for that) but also just to see something appear in the little timeline in the top right corner
