lol has anyone ever successfully done that thing where in audacity you get the track and then the instrumental and you kind of take it away and it actually worked?

I remember proper long discussions with all sorts of technical detaisl about it in every accapella thread in the past but i could never get it right

I'm pretty sure that only works in theory actually lol. I tried a couple times. Not even worth the effort. Honestly, if you aren't looking for specific vocal tracks...does anyone know how incredibly easy it is to find 'pella tracks on vinyl? Between eBay, my local vinyl shop and Jerry's in Pittsburgh I get all the 'pellas I need. Pretty much every pop song that would be played in a club between the mid 80s well through the 90's had promo 12" with an isolated vocal track. Its incredibly easy to find them.

I can't believe we'e having this topic for the 954694563496th time

I swear I thought acapellas4u would be common knowledge? like Lidl or coca cola

and yet again, hutyluty I don't wanna offense u m8 you got solid tunez but tbf I would of guessed u knew that it's an urban myth. acapellas4u has those "diy" pellas made with that method I suppose and they sound a bit shitty. you can hear the instrumental in the back quite clearly.

I've done this many times. You have to phase reverse one of the tracks or else it won't work.

The chances that the acapella and the released version of the acapella matches is extremely slim.
