so-with all the Ched Evan's shitstorm recently it got me thinking-what defines "rape" loosely involuntary penetration, right? Therefore how do you deem sex to be consensual without "verbal agreement" (because who verbally agrees to have sex< esp. when intoxicated??) What differs the Evans case to a lot in the media is she wasn't dragged off the street or physically assaulted in any way-I've tried to avoid the story as it was getting a bit grating-but I believe the young woman was having sex with Evans' friend and he joined in-imo that's not strictly cut and dry as rape in the sense that the media reports every week seemingly-so were Evans' actions tantamount to "rape" or something like aggravated sexual assault-how would you define rape? Should he be banished from the game?

i haven't actually been following this story and can't see any description of what happened in that bbc article but i can't imagine it happened as innocently as you described it if he was sentenced to five years

Depends-if they'd met/conversed during that night/in the hotel room-if they're unacquainted I see why it's bad. Even so in the day and age of contentious rape cases and false rape claims always best to be sure

This is the sum total of what I know about this Ched Evan, other than the paris shotting was a ff to protect his interests.
