...dont do it like this dood.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/entertainment/bank ... mme3.shtml

Remember watching this random programme on the box a while back. About a guy who got himself into massive debt pretending he was part of the dnb scene, blowing loads of credit and his parents money on records, raving and building a studio...

He justified his well over the top spending by calling it networking..but ultimately he did fuck all with it but big himself up. He ended up blowin over £100,000 on the good times. Theres a bit more to it than that so check the link

It was hilarious viewing.

£113,500 in debt?!? That's insane. More to the point, how was he managing to borrow that much in the first place without a job?!

Man, I seem to be checking every single thing I do with money at the moment. I was thinking about whether to go 'fuck it', and just buy that Powerbook I've been after for ages. Then racket reminds me how much I hate being in debt...

:D

its mad like that . . .

cos really that is down t the banks, they should have t take responsiblity fr that at the end of the day.

Where are the regulatory bodies, as this obviouslly points t some serious problems within the finance industry, same story all over tho . . .

Theres this quality bit in the programme where he goes to Blackmarket and blows loads of cash on tunes but you kind of get the feeling that having a camera crew with him made him go a bit mad and added to the problem whilst Nicky's just there rubbin his hands

They also filmed him at Movement or some place gettin into some of his 'networkin'

Wish i had recorded it.

Too true. Think of all the money they're making off people with credit cards! Almost every other ad on daytime TV is about debt 'consolidation' - again, just more ways for these companies to make money from the average Joe who's got into that state. That's the big problem now, it's almost seen as normal to have lots of debt on credit cards etc. People will just go out and spend without thinking of the consequences, instead of only spending what they have in the first place

My Lloyds TSB branch gave a mentally disabled guy a huge loan, and he gave it away with no intention of ever paying it back.

Banks are idiots.
