Well that's not the "sound like skrillex" growl but i've been listen to some kind of growl lately, you can hear it clearly in this track from Desembra at 1:02
https://soundcloud.com/officialdesembra ... e-download
It's not the usaul type of growl, it seems to be heavily processed with lot of filters and other stuff but I'm thinking about Serum. What about you people?

Well sorry I dont know any tutorials on the net for this kind of stuff I actually learnd a lot by reading the Official Growl thread (it takes a while to read trough it but it realy helps), for my growl the fm8 patch is realy easy the actuall "growl" sound comes from the fx.For the fm8 patch it´s just a PWM Ramp Mod and a Formant 10th wave feed in to a sine wave the Fx chain is :
Compression (OTT) -> Phaser -> EQ (highpass) -> EQ (Vowel) -> EQ (well just EQing the sound and make it fit) -> Reeverb
Oh and also a realy good tipp for Growls is to pitchbend the shit out of them because you need to look at the Growl like you would be talking we dont talk in the same pitch with every word we are saying the pitch changes and I think doing the same thing with growls is a realy helpful tipp (for me at least)
I realy hope it helps man

(and again sorry my english is aweful

)

Yeh this dude pretty much nailed it
Pitch mods really important for sounds like this, even small ones like +/- 1 or 2 semitones
Phasers are good (because they basically formant eq it for you)
Eq it properly, spend time focusing on formants
Compress it
Slight distortion (Not over the top distortion, just subtle)
Lots of dudes nowadays running their growls through vocoders and setting the input as the modulator, can give off some cool effects
Mess with all that shit and you'll get some cool effects like this

Oh and mess around with following the pitch bend with the vowel EQ. Can get some pretty interesting results.

Make a tutorial on that dude. That sound is simultaneously GOAT, OG, mint and money.
I know the basic process was described by the other guy and I'll be experimenting with it, but your timbre and everything is perfect. Very "Syndicate/SMNS". Also I read that post in your voice huehuehue.

Am I supposed to use "formant table" for eq it properly?

sounds cool man !
a tipp I forgot to write is you should have a Ohmicide (I always put it at the end of my FX chain) where you only distord the high end that gives the Growl more "crunchynes"/makes it ruffer.
I hope you know what I mean
oh and Labco dude thank you soooo much man I am a huge fan ! and getting feedback from you just made my day man thank you !
