ghostbusters remake will have female main characters

Looks like the rumors are true: the next Ghostbusters movie will have an all-female cast, and now we know exactly who those actresses will be.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon are all in talks for leads in the reboot, which is being directed by Paul Feig (of Bridesmaids fame). While some of these actresses are still negotiating the roles, they're still expected to be in the movie.
Hopefully, some of these names are familiar to you. If not: McCarthy and Kristen Wiig are both comedians that starred in Bridesmaids. Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon are both known for Saturday Night Live.

Seeing as the highlight of the directors career seems to be bridesmaids, I won't be losing sleep over this news...

It's pretty much an all SNL cast. You've seen himym, but not SNL?
McKinnon and Wiig are both excellent. Haven't seen Bridesmaids though.

I think it's a great idea.
Also dont miss out on bridesmaids it was the best comedy that year and suuuper funny imo
Kristen Wig is also generally amazingly funny in my book.
And even a great actor tbh, check out skeleton twins with Bill Hader, great little film.
