Can anyone help

ive just recorded a set through steinberg.wavelab... but its only recorded though one channel.. is there anyway i can split it ??

you could convert it to stereo by re-sampling in Soundforge or another wave editor
however this is a bit of a 'no-other-options' type suggestion cos if there were any nice stereo details in the recording you will not be able to recapture them...

true for real stereo oyu have to record it in stereo... check your connections
something is ging mono there, could be the settings interface as well,

yeah whatever you do the stereo elements (eg hi-hats panned left etc) will be lost
at worst you can just cut channel 1 into a new project and paste it on both left and right tracks so at least its playing out both channels

if you do that reverse the phase on one channel so you dent get phase cancellation (flanging sound)

It's mono. It's fucked.
I think that the only thing you could try, would be to apply a soft stereo spread to it on the mid or upper frequencies and leave your bass mono. It would add some dodgy 'width' and might make it listenable.
