Burial - Untrue : Bad vinyl pressing?

this forum is going to be buried in Burial threads if it carries on like this.
awful puns aside, has anyone noticed the vinyl pressing sounding a bit, well, rubbish?
I posted this in one of the other Burial threads but it got swallowed in chat:
"with the vinyl version, has anyone noticed a nasty treble fizz/hiss in their right speaker? its really noticeable on homeless and on a brief listen it seems to go on and off in keeping with the bassline. the mp3 version on bleep doesn't have it and just sounds far less messy. on first listen to the vinyl version i couldnt work out why homeless sounded so different but i think its the hiss.......
i changed my needles recently, all set up proper. tried swapping to different deck, phono amp etc etc too. im gonna try listening to all the other tracks and see if they have it too. "
since writing that last night i listened to other tracks and most have this nasty intermittent fizzy hiss in the right speaker. Its not on the 320s from Bleep, its not on the cd. Anyone?
I'll probably take my copy back to Sounds of the Universe and see if ut was just a dodgy copy otherwise.....

there's your answer. If you think you've got a duff copy, take it back to the shop or contact the label.

well, given the number of burial fans here i thought it was worth an ask.... no point taking it back to the shop if everyone's got the same problem innit!

I don't know about that. If a release had genuinely suffered a bad pressing and noone had realised before it reached the shops, I'd imagine the shop would want to know, both so that it could stop selling them, and also get onto the distro/label to sort it out asap.
granted posting about it on the internet may get more people agreeing with you (if there were bad pressings) but it's not actually going to solve anything.

well, it might answer the question of whether its a widespread issue or an isolated incident which was kinda the point of the post in the first place.
i'm now assuming its just a dodgy pressing, so i'll go back to SOTU.

My pressing is ok but there is a discrepancy between the order of the tunes on CD / Vinyl and the listings on the sleeve, anyone else have this?
