Wanting something is not an excuse or an explanation for what she is doing.
A woman who's beat up by her husband everyday might still 'want' to live with him. It's the 'dont mind' bit that just isn't something anyone can decide right then... consequence comes later maybe or maybe that specific mind is shrauded by some complex ting that needs to be tinkered with or uncovered down a shrinks office or whatever.
