make a patch in subtractor

attack up freq up

make 3/4 diff basslines add some automation and boom

you have to be an hero to make warp warp noises.

I heard it can only be made in Yorkshire...

Well.. listened to some of his tracks at his myspace and i think its just normal square/triangle/saw wobbles and then he just plays a lot with the resonance settings..

Heartbrokens addictive, but it is crap. Babycakes has more soul then that. But hes made a commercially viable song so if that was his intention then i take my hat off.

The Bassline house ting going on, is that the same as niche or is niche? Up North i know they've been into this for a while. In my head I reserved 'Bassline House' for Sinden et fidgety warp bassline crew. I mean 'Beeper' sounds closer to Ripgroove then most of midi pizzicato + strings and a 909 sample pack that ive been hearing lately. I'm probably talking crap, labeling music, lame.

I think we're talking different genres anyway..Sinden&Co are closer to a hybrid of b-more club and bass-heavy non-cheesy electro than the s-called Niche or Fidget. Sinden himself said they don't 'classify' their sound as fidget and his newer stuff bears a aheavy B-more signature.

Having said that, this type of music is kind of a mission to come across in shops!
