Here.
It's not a shame really. It's growing and growing. I predict large things for over the coming months. Jasbof and Dreadnought running tings.
Keep friday 25th of January free in your diary. That's gonna be Dreadnought_06 at the Barfly. Should be anouncing a massive headliner over the next few days.
In the mean time...

Yeah man. I'm up for helping out wherever I can.
What've you got planned in for January? Have we spoken before? If not I'm sure I'll see you down at chibuku on Saturday. I'll introduce myself.

I wish we could get some of that crowd over to Liverpool. You've got it too easy.

ite Rob lar. How's Leeds man. Gettin into this dubstepforum shizzle a now lol. Yea man you and Nate are both welcome to play at a night. Josh already said he would play some for us so may as well get the whole crew down. My mixing had gone a bit shit recently been concentrating on producing more to be honest.
Think i'm too skint to go chibuku but i know a few mates goin so mite try get down. As for the nights in Feb we got a few ideas flying about. We we're thinkin about doing a cupple of nights a month. A dubstep sort of thing with maybe a little grime dnb. There is a idea of doin a strait up Grime night. Then maybe a more general night. Like a drum and bass house breaks etc. I think you've spoken to Mat waters my mate possible about this??? I dont think we've personally spoken b4?

I am but am never around to go to anything decent in the pool, thanks to my job. I went to the couple of jasbof things last year when there was practically no one there which I can completly understrand why people would be put off trying.
Gutted I'm missing the Hive thing this weekend which apparantly has Geiom on.

Yeah. The Hive microfestival thing was sold out a few weeks ago. I'm gonna head doen on the day and see if there's been any returns. I really want to see Geiom do his thing.

keep us updated on what's a gwan man. I'll be more than happy to help out / play / promote / bring people. A grime night would be wicked. I know a few bwoys from back my way in Chorley that'd be up for doing a set.
I really find it strange that liverpool lacks so much in the way of carribean soundsystem culture (in the city centre at least) considering its large black population and dubwise roots in the seventies.
It'd be wicked to get something going down at the carribean centre and get a load of the older dub heads involved.
I reckon there's a scene just waiting to happen.
and I don't think it's too hard to get a successful night going on. We had nearly 200 people down for our first night with N-type. Just gotta put the hours in for the promo.

Seriously! Liverpool has a Caribbean centre. I didnt even know. We met a lad from Bristol the other week reakon he can get a lot of Grime artist from there down. plus he said he can get pinch down! Not to big into my Grime but all music is good music.. (bar scouce house). I'm not interested in creating competition with other nites, my mixing has seen better days and my production skills are still in the development stage. But im willing to put the hours in. And when i can afford a set of decks i'l be mixing decent again. Do you know where this Caribbean centre is?

Yeah man. Never been in. It's on Parliament street in L8. Ten minutes walk from the uni. On the way up to Smithdown.
Should go and see what they're saying.

Defo mate. I'm gonna go check it out next week if your up for it. A new venue would give a dubstep night somethin a bit different. If its anythin like the Leeds west indian centre would be sick. Just need some stupidly bassy system now!
