Daily weed smokers beware (most of you)
http://www.bbc.com/news/health-31480234
You all probably think it's harmless.
Think, for a minute, about how much better your life would be if you didn't smoke weed. Yes, there are exceptions, which i'm sure some of you smart arses will point out, but it's fucking bad for you and there is proof.
Maybe that's why this forum is so incoherent a lot of the time, so many of you smoke hash/weed on the regs.
Shame really, you'll grow out of it if you're lucky.

I actually did give up in account of it giving me terrible mood swings and paranoia and I'm really glad I did. One of the best choices I've ever made.

Good for you. Most pot heads deny any negative side effects and it makes me feel sorry for them. Poor addicts

I still haven't fully sobered up from saturday night. I guess thats why I know so many who do it daily to cover up the stoneover. Its the mildest of the narcotics as a doable addiction. most people I know keep jobs and stay blazed but it's bad becuase its quite mild people allow it and tend to not see the downsides, like 'you've been talking about doing that band for ten years now, stoip getting high'.
psychosis though, I dunno, just another form of you vocalising and talking usually saying 'what the fucks everyone moaning for' either that or jah.

Same token with alcohol, comes with terrible health effects, but the majority of the population drink. I just treat them both the same, I wouldn't drink everyday so I don't smoke weed everyday. Smoke it once a week or every weeks with my mates.

More scaremongering.
Those "boo-hoo I had such a time" people make me furious. Of course it can have bad effects with some people, make them paranoid etc. like drinking can make certain people violent. But we have to keep it banned just cos Cath from Berkshire didn't like it even though 90% of people who smoke it experience no problems whatsoever.

it's not scaremongering, anyone who has smoked weed will realise that it definitely has the potential to trigger psychiotic episodes and people who don't admit it are lying to themselves.
I do agree it shoudl be legal tho just like every drug

It is scaremongering though isn't it.
Doesn't sound particularly well thought out - 24% of new psychosis cases linked with psychosis and smokers are 3x more likely to develop psychosis - based on a study of 780 psychosis patients. don't think i'd band those accusations about so freely. and it's completely one sided. Get two people to have a moan about how awful it is but don't speak to any of the millions of people who are saying "yeah had a great time mate, like getting stoned". mix in a bit of judgmental this-is-why-it's-illegal bullshit and you've got a typical BBC article.

"skunk-like" cannabis...
Come on, they probably don't know the difference between Indicas and Sativas. At least they did mention CBD's though.
