let's not complain - whilst we have it good - about something which we complained about when it wasn't this way.
a valid discussion does however, need to be raised aboout quality control.
end of a golden age? some people are opening up that idea for discussion. i think :- possibly because we seem to be getting to the stage where a 'dubstep 12''' doesn't automatically equate to the sublime.

the only thing that sucks about it, is that if you miss a week, you might miss a record for good. not many large runs of records... everything on DMZ is almost sold out within a week at every store, etc...
it's good for the labels, good for those with money to spend, horrible for those on a budget

Both those DMZ's on Souljazz sold in days!
Glad I got mine!
Thing is tho, say 500 units are pressed and then sold out in a week does this not mean that with logical progression the next time they press would they not think lets take a gamble n do 1000? Pauline you may be able to answer this better?!
Just seems to be a good thing in my eyes as its a sure sign that Dub is growning and growing
Bigup all them label head!
I say, try and make me spend all my money on record, go on I dare ya....You'll neva rinse me!

I believe I heard from Loefah that there aren't many 500 press runs, that they are like 1500-2000 each time, which still sell out immediately

and i remeber the days when we first started the label and we'd sell 200-300 at a max if we were lucky...its slowly turning into a viable business, if people see it like that

I thought it takes ages for them to come out??
my dubs are normally fuct wen the chune comes on record the only chunes that have come out quickly for me was the benga album and my chune tred and missunderstood.
everyfing else takes a while i recon.
I think its good that they come out... more the better

Old DnB sold on eBay > money goes into paypal > paypal gets spent at Redeye > shiny new dubstep arrives on my desk everyday.
