MikeE started off promoting in Auckland, New Zealand, being one half of the PREMIUM EVENTS promotion team behind Auckland’s longest running weekly drum and bass party “Low Rollers” and the “Easter Weekender” a multi genre, multi international headliner, touring party across the country. He later went out and promoted on his own, focusing on niche underground acts under his own PROPA brand.

His DJing covers a wide range of sounds in the bass music spectrum from Underground House & Techno, UK Garage, Dubstep and Grime to Beats, Jungle, Drum & Bass and Footwork.

His radio show, PROPA Radio rand for three years from 2009 until 2012 on New Zealand’s largest independent radio station UPFM. He’s also done the odd guest show and mix on George FM in New Zealand and Rinse FM in the UK.

He’s been on the road since 2012, living in Europe before relocating to Thailand and holding down residencies in Bangkok, Koh Tao and the infamous Full Moon Party island of Koh Phangan. He’s DJed in New Zealand (Phat Festival, Rhythm & Vines Festival and a residency at Auckland’s longest running Saturday club night - Sick Disco), the UK, Croatia (Dimensions Festival), Thailand (Rhythm & Sands, Beach & Beyond Festivals), Malaysia (Paintball World Cup Asia) and the USA.

Now based in San Diego, he’s a regular at local clubs and events, playing the latest underground house and bass music and working on getting his old show - PROPA Radio back in the airwaves.
