dj signify kills the sp.

sixtoo is great..shame about what Buck65 has turned into as some of his beats were amazing..

i always liked Controller7 since the Rainmen Remix.that beat is incredible..i was well chuffed they finally re-released the Expansions EP..the drums are ridiculous.

maybe a shame yes, but there is so much still there to love.buck is timeless, seen him many times live...i think finally getting married is changin him.

is funny cause there are tons of cats pickin up the slack, besides all the filthy dirty bully stuff. there is maker and the galapagos4 crew...cosiner is so on point....dj signify...eliot lipps debut was crazy...the earl is insane...take is exceptional...plus all the random one off eps that are all over in good shops.

tons to still be excited about...

na i got to say that whole scene is kind of played to me nowadays. not feeling the backpacky galapagos stuff at all, admitedly i havent heard much of the othet stuff you mentioned tho. I recon the Euro guys have it right, TTC, Para1, Cuisiner like you say are off all of the heazie and completely nuts, though what the fuck is that thing Stacs Of Stam put out on Werk?? For me its mostly just a case of theres too much going on on my doorstep to care about next door, ygm. Laziness mostly

I really liked Square, but since then other than the odd track, I've been left pretty cold..his singing is horrendous..

I like about 60% of the Bully stuff, mostly the old 1200 hobos producers stuff though..I like the Qwel, Denizen Kane and Typical Cats on G4, but not really any of the other MCs..

The only regular hip-hop artist I check is MF Doom..the new Ghostface is dope too..not really listening to any new stuff apart from that..

If you like the Wu, should check this - 100% official and legal!

^^

fuck off u dont like maker's beats?
man is crazy, i could care less for the rapping.

check out shooting the breeze or honestly, and tune out the rapping.
i am seriously tired of most all rap these days indie or not...

cuisiner is dope...but cosiner is stateside. involution vol1 with omid is nice.

i agree alot is wack...but if u sift through most u can find some heavy gems...

Have you ever seen the Scratch Bastid juggle of Centaur @ Scribble Jam when he makes it into the Star Wars theme? :o

yesss bro....i rewind that part, gives me the willys.

u know that sample is from 'carrie' and its totally obvious if u watch it...buck is a sampling king anyways...

that juggle sounds daaaaaaum! Bastid is a bigoy dj, used to love his mixtapes.

hahaha well... crunk works for me man, hits a spot. its hype, its energetic, some nice cheap-but-effective productions going on so you can see why it might appeal to a grime fan. Also i could quite easily ask what you non-UK boys are doing with grime and dubastep getme? Its a globalised music scene nowadays - this is a complex issue best left for another thread tho i recon...

as for crunk productions, you know lately ive been hearing a lot of original stuff coming through, especially whoever produced the Crime Mob album killed it hard
