can somebody tell me how to make warping basses like ppl are now using in niche/bassline/speed garage
im using Reason 4
dont say experiment, because i have and im getting nowhere.
ive been searching the internet like crazy, but havent been sucessful either.

Subtractor -

One square wave

Filter envelope amount full
Filter envelope Decay and Sustain full, just a touch of release
Filter envelope attack just over a third up to a half (THE KEY!!! tweak this bit)
Amp envelope attack just over a third up
Get a note playing on repeat and slowly draw up main filter (lo-pass) cutoff till desired sound achieved
main filter res at about a quater/third

The warp comes form the the effect of the Filter envelope drawing up the filter

Experiment.
