dubstep classics???

i'm fairly new to dubstep (bout a year or so) and i'm trying to beef up my collection.
can anyone point me in the direction of the 'classics'?

you after vinyl, mp3s or mixes?
for CDs id say these

no idea about mp3s really as i never buy them, but try beatport and bleep
and for mixes id recommend the search tool

all early Tempa releases - you can buy a lot of them on mp3 at dubplate.net (although I've heard of issues with their digi-sales working). Up to & including TEMPA014, and the 2 Horsepower LPs are essential.
early Hot Flush (all available on Bleep.com I think).
All DMZ & Tectonic releases (all available on Bleep.com)
Search discogs.com if you need names of tracks etc.

Roots of Dubstep CD on Tempa is a good place to start.
Weren't Tempa repressing a lot of those tunes due to popular demand a while back? Ebay is your friend.

Forthcoming Roots of El-b comp should be a good purchase for you, seems to have been a bit quiet of late, might be worth getting in touch with Blackdown as he's compiling it I believe.
There's often quite a lot of roots of sets in the mixes section, United Vibes usually play a first hour of old garage and dubstep, and Tronman's got an amazing collection of these tunes.
