like the subject is.. byebye dubstepforum

-most ppl disliked my tracks because its too burial and stuff..
-i dont rly experience new sounds in the dubstep. that was something i expected alot of dubstep.
-ppl are talking more bout technical stuff then the music itself or ppl are too filosofical in my opinion :)

for the peepz who liked my stuff.. im fixing a liveset with a friend of mine. Itll be filmed and recorded prolly well try to do 320 set. For me thatll be the beginning of a too fast end of how i saw/see dubstep dying. The set will be posted in febraury. Then the gig will be filmed.

I think I only listened to one of your tracks and yes it was pretty much a copycat. So the track wasn't bad at all apart from that. Find your own style.

... make it happen then.

Production forum for the technique, Dubstep forum for the music... What's wrong with it?
Besides, for me music is a personal feeling and tbh I really don't care about people's view of Mala's latest release.

Sjonge zeg, wel een beetje een huil-actie hoor. Zorg dan zelf voor die vernieuwing in de scene?!

Roqqert, just listened to ur tracks 4 the first time pretty much and i gotta say u have been heavily influenced by burial, but theres no shame in that imo. Ur tracks r beautiful and deserve praise.

Burial has a very distinct sound, but if u like it, why not use it as a point of reference? i'm sure lots of people do the same with coki, skream etc etc...

Not really sure what the point of posting that was, if you intend to leave, skulk off quietly. BUT on the other hand i think the comments are a bit unjustified, listened to your myspace, snippet does sound like a burial ripoff, i won't lie, somewhere inbetween Wounder and something off Untrue, but Revealed is burialesque but at the same time original. And good, which is what matters. And the other two sound nothing like him and are still pretty decent, so i don't see what the problem is.

Burial has a good sound, i wouldn't mind seeing more people inspired by him

Well it's a bit silly leaving over something as small as that, your always gonna get critics in whatever you do and you gotta take it on the chin.

As for your style, I think there should be a lot more of it and I hope to see lot more producers in 2008 promoting this sound more in the same way or with a twist. I much prefer Dubstep like this and if only one artist makes it then it's gonna get very boring very quickly.

Look at how many people copied Massive Attack & Portishead's style when they released their albums in the mid 90s, if it wasn't for artists copying and adding to their sound the whole Trip-Hop and Down Tempo genres wouldn't be as good as they are.

are they good? sorry hadnt noticed.

anyway roqqert, like Slim said, whats with the big fanfare thing as you leave the room? if u dont want to post on here no one is forcing you. just stop

and u cant really complain about the burial-biting accusations; u spend most yr time on here dissing anyhting that doesnt sound like him

and as sum1 else said, if u aint hearing enuf new stuff in dubstep then it up 2 u to produce it...makin burialalike tunes aint really the answer

sorry to be a tnuc. but thats the deal. no reason to jump ship tho guy. do yr thing. ignore me and everyone else
