it is a younger crowd than london yeah. high percentage of students. but the vibe doesn't suffer from that at all. in fact it probably makes it better.

nah not at all, bit more wide eyed maybe but no less buzz
the fact that they're there is great, far better then what most of the younger heads in dublin are listening to on a friday night out anyway

Maybe, everyone was really into it in Leeds, and it felt more of a rave type atmosphere - wicked night!

It is a good vibe. And everyone does treat it like a rave and subsequently get proper mashed. I do sometimes wonder though how many people there actually engage with the music outside of the West Indian and how many treat it as just a slight variation on SubDub (which a lot of students also see as just a big mashup). Its not necessarily a bad thing and there aren't many dances with as much energy as you get at West Indian
