try a single OSC set to saw wave (square wave if u want the more hollow acid sound)
a bit of env amt on yer cutoff with the envelope usually set to 0 attack, sharp decay, 0 release and 0 hold etc..
thats it really!
jsut fuck about with resonance, cutoff, ENV amt and the decay of the envelope on either real CC controller knobs or automation..
also if ur using hi resonance make sure u use either a limiter or compressor of some kind to stop the res peaks stabbing ur eardrums to death hehe

can't use rebirth with osX though. kinda sucks.
you can get some good acid sounds with subtractor.
havn't heard much of that sound in dubstep, but i think it could be interesting if done tastefully/not overdone.

Good example would be 'Tech Itch - Implant'
Its got a little acid lick in it...just the right amount if you ask me.
