Digging the mood. Reminds me of afx's selected ambient works vol 1.
I'm not a huge fan when everything drops but the kicks, as on there own, the kicks sound slightly untouched. But the melody that comes in after that break, the pad melody, is really nice. This has a nice aquatic or ice-like feel.

ive just been thinking the same about those kicks...some more work needs doing. thanks for the add...had a listen to cave which is a fucking hammer btw. thanks for comments. let me know when you finish anythinh else id like to hear it!
