Heard a few of them kinda in that vein. One tune on distance that was killer, and candidate B from Pressing Issues 002 Side A also kinda like what I'm after.
Anyone got any other hot tips?

I have been dabbling with a few bits but a way off show and tell, the lower bpm is perfect for letting the breaks breathe!
/edit
Dev said the forthcoming drumworks lp (vol 4 i believe) has a few downtempo pieces on there around 138, not out for a few months yet though.
/edit edit
I would highly recommend the drumworks series to anyone, especially vol 2

is there any audio online for this anywhere?

Note to self: must remember to check their tracks!
I love working with breakbeats at dubstep tempos, but my concern is that I always get a bit too carried away with the drums to the point where it may actually just sound like slower experimental D&B (rather than dubstep with intricate drum patterns)

Can you really say it is drumfunk influenced? After all drumfunk itself so closely resembles jungle and takes influence from the 'intelligent' era, does it not?

Oh yeah on the subject of drumfunk I came accross Macc 'If...' the other day in my collection, heavy tune.

exactly what I'm after. cheers
guess it dosen't have to be really be 'dubstep' as such. Just really drumy stuff somewhere between 130-150 bpm. Keep 'em comming guys
