those emos wrote:but.. I love her, and it really seems she doesnt care at all.
its bad, but its good aswell, i dont feel any guilt for wanting to die. i can die, because im not afraid of causing her pain..
My dad died about 2 months ago. I really loved him. my mum's a bitch, got divorced 2 yrs ago, and now, ive moved to her, she's asking me: If i die, do you have a preference, on who you would like to live with?
I mean, my family is made up of retards, all dissing my dad, and are just weird. The one person (well, theres like 5) who could stop me doesnt give f***
I just want to end this pain, and the fact that I wont cause my love pain, is a great relief.
hahahahahahahahaha emos make me laugh so much.
why put sooooo much effort into emo self-pity? some twat is calling this dude strong because he wants to commit suicide, what the hell is the world coming to when you're 'strong' because you want to kill yourself?
im not trying to be a tnuc but i have a deep rooted loathing of emos for various reasons.
if they spent half the time they do putting on eyeliner asking girls out, they might not be so fucking miserable.

Sad thing is that all these people talking about depression and self harm, make the issue such a joke. Theres people out there who are fucking depressed, and i tell ya what, they dont wake up to put make up on and strut about with their friends into town.
Contakt, i thought i could sence a bit of sarcasm from posters, like they are taking the piss. But to be honest im not sure if some of them havent became parodys of themselves.

Sadly, Thomas, I think you are right about them having become parodies of themselves.
I also agree with you about them undermining the seriousness of mental illness and suicide - it's not a fucking phase for some people.
Anyway. stnuc.

You wouldnt want constant attention from your peers though? You aint emo.
Always find it amazing how many other forums out there, are even more crazy than here. Have to laugh at the internet world somtimes.

yeah you lads have a point, the severe exagurration sort of takes away from the serious issue here by making it a bit ridiculous

another bottom line is that, realistically, if you were actually depressed you would not want to be drawing attention to it, and making it seem like it is something to be desired
the way i see it, they are just pretty desperate for attention, and try to get it by making themself seem vulnerable, in order to make people look after them and give them the attention they crave
however this is taken to a wrong level in the action of cutting themselves in visible places just to get this attention (generalising here, i do realise this is not an across the board reality), i know people who have actually had problems with self harm and it is a horrible thing that should never be emulated for the purpose of following a trend

I sometimes work with selfharm and genuinely depressed people. Not funny stuff.
But the emo kiddie thing really is not that at all - just a stupid pisstake. More like a form of "aspirational" depression...
fucking wake the fuck up
actually, they need some Cockney Thug in their lives
