i've only been into dubstep for a while and my collection is still relatively small. it mostly comprises of mixes i downloaded from the internet as well as a few albums that people on other forums have made and labeled as dubstep.
im really interested in this genre at the moment and am just wondering who are the top artists and albums that i should check out.

Plenty of good posts already if you spend some time with the "search" function.
eMusic and iTunes also have alot of dubstep. Just start searching around and sampling what's out there.
Good Luck!
The album that got me into Dubstep was "Science Faction: Dubstep" you can find it on iTunes.
