"futuristic" dubstep

I'm putting together a playlist/mix for a "futuristic" themed party bus/"space ship" and am seeking your opinion on "futuristic" dubstep...what tunes make you feel like you're living in the future or on a space ship? The promoter has requested samples from...."Deep space 9, star wars, star treck, back to the future, quantum leap, etc etc!!!"

My question is, what beats work with this?

Thx,

Andrew

It's not really much to do with the films...the samples from them are pretty cheese and stand on their own. Basically they've rented this shuttle bus to pick people up through the city and want to turn it into a space ship vibe....looking for the beats to bring that vibe.

Thx for the input!

i've always thought of dubstep to be futuristic in a sense.

especially the 2005 < stuff.

i've also thought of it as the dub in gibson's neuromancer; urban, aquatic, tropical and mystical.

sounds like u want tracks with bleepy sci-fi noises into the beats.

The star trek samples u could probably find on the internet & add yourself using software, quite easy.
