Decent compressor with sidechain?

I've been looking for a _decent_ VST sidechain compressor for a while now and i've yet to find something i like using.

This is one thing that pisses me off about Cubase (I used Logic 5.5 until about a year ago) is a lack of a good decent default compressor that supports sidechain inputs. Getting a sidechain running on logic 5.5 takes about 10 seconds and in Logic 7 its about 2 seconds!

Yo.

Check out the TC Native Bundle.

I use this as it is the only real sidechaining solution for renoise at the moment.

It is actually discontinued, but you will be able to find it somewhere.

i second the kjaerhus, sounds excellent. Apparently Cubase SX 4.1 has proper sidechain support, but that will be useless until everyone re-writes their plugins.

not sure what the support is like for sidechaining in cubase 4 but i got SL3 and it doesn't.... i use DB audioware sidechain compressor.... think its about 45 quid. it has channels to independently route audio for keying etc rather than setting up channels in cubase. works a treat

Yeah its a complete joke. I'm using SX3 and it's definitely long having to setup groups and shit just to get some sidechain action going. Will give some of these a try.

Cheers.

I've been told good things about kjaerhus as well. You can always try and learn how to use the waves c1-sc but it's extremely complicated to use on a stereo signal and you need 2 instances to do it. The end result sounds great though

sidekick v3 is free and easy to use and does sidechaining/keying.
it's not the most featureful, but for sidechaining it does a great job.
